In Chhattisgarh, Naxalites killed two villagers and set on fire five trucks in two separate incidents in the Bastar division on Thursday night. According to police sources, Naxalites had kidnapped three villagers from the Murdunda village in Avapalli police station of Bijapur district a couple of days ago. They killed two of them suspecting them to be police informers and threw their bodies near the Avapalli police station. The deceased include a former Sarpanch. On the other hand, Naxalites also burnt five trucks in the Dantewada district on Thursday night. The trucks were engaged in transporting iron ore from Kiandool. The incident occurred near the Nareli ghat between Dantewada and Kirandool.
