Naxalites in Chhattisgarh have killed 4 persons and set fire to 5 vehicles during the past 24 hours.<br/><br/>According to sources, naxalites had kidnapped about 12 villagers from the Bijapur district a couple of days ago suspecting them to be police informers. <br/><br/>The dead bodies of three of them were recovered today while the rest 9 have reportedly come back. Naxalites also killed a villager of Nayapara in the Bijapur district yesterday on the same ground, whose body too was recovered today.<br/><br/>On the other hand, naxalites set fire to five vehicles of a local contractor engaged in excavation of iron ore in the Kanker district this morning. The incident occurred near the village Chargaon under the Korar police station area.
