In Chhattisgarh, Naxalites today damaged a bridge by a powerful landmine in the Bastar district. The blast took place near Bania village on the national highway 30. No casualty has however been reported in the blast. Following the incident, police have stepped up their search operation in the area. On the other hand, Naxalites also blasted off a newly built watch tower near Charre Marre water fall in the Kanker district today.
