Naxalites blast off school building in Dantewara, mobile tower in Orissa

<br/>In Chhatisgarh, Naxalites blasted off a school building in the Dantewada district last night. According to police source, the school building was under construction in Keratunga under Kukanar police station area. Naxals also fired at the Pamed station in Bijapur district last night. No casualty has, however, been reported in the firing. On the other hand, Naxalites also killed a villager in Bhainsasur under Antagarh police station area in Kanker district last night suspecting him to be police informer. Sources said, the Naxalites perpetrated these incidents following Maoists bandh call in the Dandakaranya area from 10th of June to 14th of June in protest against the killing of their leader in Andhra Pradesh.<br/><br/> Meanwhile, in Orissa maoists blew up a mobile tower of a private telecom operator in Malkangiri district in a bid to disrupt communication network in their stronghold. Police sources said about 50 heavily-armed Naxals came to Nilakamberu area on the outskirt of Balimela town late last night and triggered a landmine blast destroying the tower. The ultras then disappeared into the nearby forest raising slogans against the government and security forces.<br/><br/>The sources said that security personnel did not follow the Maoists mmediately as there could have been landmines on the road. <br/>
