Naxal attacks incident reported in Jharkhand, Chattisgarh and Orissa

<br/>On the second day of Bharat bandh call given by Naxal’tes, some incidents of Naxal attacks have been reported in Jharkhand, Chattisgarh and Orissa.<br/><br/>In Jharkhand, railways property has been damaged at two locations by Naxalites. In the first incident, Railways track between Tetulmari and Nichitpur railways stations on Dhanbad Gaya rail line was damaged due to a bomb blast last late last night while in the other incident, Hehegardha railway station was blown up on CIC section in Latehar district.Three railways employees who were earlier abducted by the Naxalitess have now been freed. Our Ranchi correspondent reports that the naxalites also attacked security forces when they tried to stop Naxalites from blowing up the railway station building. In the resulting battle between the Naxalites and the security forces,one jawan of Jarkhand Jaguar, Rajesh Kumar, was killed. The battle lasted for one and half hour.<br/><br/>In Orissa, heavily-armed Maoists attacked a police station and a forest office setting them on fire and abducted a policeman in Keonjhar district. Police sources said around 80 Maoists, armed with automatic weapons, stormed into Daitari town, and targeted the police station and the nearby forest office opening indiscriminate fire last night.<br/><br/>The seven policemen, who were on duty at the police station at the time of the incident, retaliated triggering a brief exchange of fire with the Maoists but they were out numbered badly.<br/><br/>The sources said that Assistant Sub Inspector Umesh Chandra Marandi has gone missing after the incident and is feared to have been abducted by the Naxals.
