In Chhattisgarh at least one policeman was killed in a Naxal attack in the Bijapur district on Thursday evening. According to sources, armed Naxalites shot dead a jawan in a weekly market near the camp of the Chhattisgarh Armed Forces at Pamalbaya. Earlier, the Naxalites also killed two persons including an ex-Sarpanch and one youth in the Bijapur and Kanker district respectively, suspecting them to be police informers.
