The Chief of Naval Staff Admiral D K Joshi says, there is need for Navy to consolidate its capabilities continuously and reorder its preparations and training.

He was speaking to media persons in Kochi after flagging off the ASEAN expedition of INS Sudarshini in Kochi this evening.

Admiral Joshi said the new aircraft carrier Vikramadithya with MIG 29 K aircraft will bring in capabilities of an integral aircraft carrier that the Navy had never before. He said the Navy will also be inducting the P8-I maritime recce aircraft.
