Today is Navy Day. The day is celebrated to commemorate the victory of Indian Navy at sea in the Indo-Pak War of 1971. On this occasion, a homage ceremony is being organized at Amar Jawan Jyoti, India Gate in New Delhi. Several functions are also being organised by the different regional command headquarters to mark the day.
