The chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Sunil Lanba is visiting United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Oman on a five-day visit beginning tomorrow. The visit aims at consolidating bilateral naval relations with both the countries and also to explore new avenues for naval cooperation. <br/><br/>Admiral Lanba, who will be commencing his visit from UAE will hold bilateral discussions with the Minister of State for Defence of UAE, Mohammed bin Ahmad Al Bowardi. <br/><br/>The Admiral will also be visiting the Ghantoot Naval Base and National Defence College of UAE, where he will interact with the Student Officers.<br/><br/>On completion of his visit to UAE, Admiral Lanba will visit Oman on 1st of next month, where he will hold bilateral discussions with Minister Responsible for Defence Affairs of Oman, Bader Bin Saud Bin Harib Al Busaidi.
