Navi Mumbai resident starts ambulance service using his personal savings to help patients reach hospital on time

During the Coronavirus pandemic, when it comes to hospitalization of COVID patients or general patients for treatment, many of them suffer due to non-availability of ambulances. Raghav Narsale, a resident of Navi Mumbai in Maharashtra, has therefore started an ambulance service to ensure that the patients reach the hospital on time. For this, he bought an ambulance using his personal savings.
''
'' Mr. Narsale said four years ago his mother fell sick and they had to pay a huge amount for hiring an ambulance service to take her to a hospital which was just 200 metres from his home. Besides, a few months ago he also had to get admitted in a hospital when he tested Corona positive. That is when he got the idea of starting an affordable ambulance service for all the people including those who cannot afford to pay the fare. The service is available at just Rs. 100 for patients across the entire Navi Mumbai.
''
