Goddess Renuka, who is considered the mother of Lord Parshuram, resides here. There's a temple built on a mountain area where people offer betel leaves, known as Tambul, to the Goddess. The idol of Goddess Renuka is present in the form of her face.<br />'' <br />'' In Tuljapur, there's a temple called Tuljabhavani, which is the family deity of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Before Navratri and after Dussehra, the goddess is made to rest on a bed for a whole week. The idol of the goddess has eight hands. During Navratri, the goddess is worshipped in different forms, sometimes riding a chariot, &nbsp;playing the flute, and offering a sword to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Both these goddesses are offered special stiff Pudis made of flour. These pudis are hung above the idol of the Goddess like a chandelier or Jhula.<br />
