<br/>Naval ship Sayurala (P-623), the first advanced offshore patrol vessel built by state-owned Goa Shipyard Limited (GSL) for Sri Lanka, was handed over to a high-level delegation from the neighbouring country on July 22 at Goa, according to a communication from Indian Navy today.<br/>The Sri Lankan naval delegation was headed by Rear Admiral S.S. Ranasinghe, Chief of Staff, Sri Lanka Navy.<br/><br/>Chitranganee Wagiswara, High Commissioner of Sri Lanka to India, was also present at the handing-over ceremony, which marked a milestone in India-Sri Lanka relations. The warship would set sail for Colombo on July 25.<br/>
