Naval Chief Admiral Sunil Lanba will be on a five day Sri Lanka visit from today. <br/><br/>According to an official release, the visit is intended to consolidate and enhance the bilateral maritime relations between the two countries. <br/><br/>During his visit, Admiral Lanba will hold bilateral discussions with President Maithripala Sirisena and Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe. <br/><br/>He will also meet the Chief of Defence Staff and the three Service Chiefs of Sri Lankan Army. The Admiral will also attend the annual 'Galle Dialogue' in Colombo on Maritime Security and Cooperation between international navies. <br/><br/>Representatives from 39 countries and 13 international organisations are likely to participate in the event.
