The 28-member NATO has announced to take over all the international operations in Libya, including military operations to enforce no-fly-zone, enforcement of arms embargo and civilian protection. NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen said in a statement in Brussels that, NATO will implement all aspects of the UN Resolution. Rasmussen said the alliance has put together a complete package of operations in support of the United Nations Resolution by sea and by air.He said NATO forces are already enforcing the arms embargo and the No Fly Zone, and with the latest decision they are going beyond. He said, the NATO will be acting in close coordination with their international and regional partners to protect the people of Libya. He said, the NATO's top operational Commander has been asked to execute the operation with immediate effect.
