The Afghan Commander involved in a major NATO led offensive in southern Afghanistan says, at least 20 Taliban fighters have been killed . General Sher Mohammed said the insurgents died in a major assault in the town of Marjha , a Taliban stronghold in Helmand Province. Two coalition soldiers have also been killed in the offensive. Eleven insurgents have been captured so far and rifles, machine guns and grenades were seized. <br/><br/>It was the largest airborne assault ever undertaken in Afghanistan. Sixty helicopters took off before dawn bringing thousands of US, British and Afghan troops into the Taliban stronghold of Marjha. The Taliban insurgents kept a relatively slow profile during this offensive. <br/><br/>
