In Afghanistan, 30 Taliban militants were killed today by the Nato-led International Security Assistance Force (ISAF). An ISAF press release today said Afghan National Army (ANA) soldiers with support from their coalition force partners, executed ground attacks on the towns of Bachancha and Badmuk clearing them of Taliban fighters and disrupting insurgent operations throughout the region. It said more than 30 insurgents were killed while two ANA soldiers lost their lives in the attack.
