NATO defense ministers to upgrade command structure; creation of new cyber operations center

NATO defense ministers have agreed to upgrade command structure and creation of a new cyber operations center. Speaking at a press conference in Brussels, following the ministerial meeting of the Defence Ministers, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said ministers have agreed to create two new commands to improve the movement of troops across the Atlantic and within Europe. <br/><br/>He said the adaptation will strengthen NATO's ability to reinforce Allies quickly and effectively. Stoltenberg called on Allies to improve infrastructure and move bureaucratic hurdles to ensure forces move across Allied territory. He said ministers also agreed to the creation of a new cyber operations center with the aim of strengthening cyber defenses. <br/><br/><br/>He underlined that these decisions will pave the way to next year's summit of NATO leaders in Brussels.
