NATO Chief Anders Fogh Rasmussen has asked for 450 new trainers to help build up the army and police in Afghanistan. <br/> <br/>He told reporters in Brussels that we need trained Afghan forces to help tackle the current wave of violence and maintaining peace in the country. <br/> <br/>NATO leads a force of some 90,000 troops from more than 40 countries to restore stability and democracy in Afghanistan in the face of a Taliban and Al-Qaeda insurgency.<br/><br/>
