NATO has admitted that its forces in eastern Afghanistan were responsible for the deaths of three Afghan women during a night time raid last month. It has already admitted to killing two innocent male civilians in the operation saying they were shot dead when they came out of their homes carrying rifles. <br/><br/>NATO now says that women, two of them pregnant, were killed by shots fired at the men. Previously, NATO officials suggested that the women were killed by unknown assailant’s hours before the raid.
