Services and Madhya Pradesh won three Gold each while Kerala bagged three Silver in the Kayak and Canoe events in the ongoing National Games at Tiruvanantpuram today. Services SCB won the Gold in the 500-metre Men's Singles Kayak while in the 500-metre Women's Double Canoe, Madhya Pradesh won the Gold. In the 1000-metre Men's Four Canoe, Services SCB won the Gold. In the 1000-metre Women's Singles Canoe, Madhya Pradesh won the Gold while the yellow metal in the 1000-meter Women Four Kayak, went to Madhya Pradesh. Services won the Gold in 1000-metre Men's Doubles Canoe.In ten kilometre scratch event, women cyclists of the host state won the gold while in 15 kilometer scratch and C4 category of men's section, the Services came on top. In men's doubles Badminton, Kerala and Haryana will battle it out for top honours. In women's doubles, Kerala face Telangana in the final. The Services continue to be on the top with 55 gold and a total of 89 medals in their kitty. Maharashtra with 100 medals including 27 gold are continuing on the second spot. Haryana with 56 medals including 27 gold are third while hosts Kerala are fourth with 71 medals including 21 gold.
