With the bipartite talks held between United Forum of Bank Unions (UFBU) and Indian Bank Association (IBA) failed to break the ice in New Delhi, nearly 10 lakh employees and officers in Public sector banks, old private banks, regional rural banks and foreign banks will go ahead with its one-day Nation-wide strike on 12th of this month. All India Bank Employees Association (AIBEA) General Secretary Ch Venkatachalam told a news agency that further to the conciliation meeting held by the Chief Labour Commissioner, Ministry of Labour on November 5 the IBA had invited UFBU for a round of Bipartite Talks on the latter's demands mainly on wage revision.

Nationwide Banks strike tomorrow as bipartite talks fail
