National Unity Day marks 4th anniversary of 'Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat'

Today, the country is celebrating the 144th birth Anniversary of Iron man Sardar Patel in the form of National Unity Day. Today is also the 4th anniversary of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's pet project 'Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat' which aims to strengthen the cultural bond between the states. Gujarat and its people are well known for their warmth and hospitality and people from all over the country have settled in the state and became one with the local culture. Under the programme 'Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat', Gujarat has been paired with Chhattisgarh.  <br />'' <br />'' As per a report from correspondent depicting the people to people interaction between the two states, India, despite its varied language, food and culinary habits, clothing and culture, has always been united as one. Rather, Unity in diversity has become our global identity. But, many Indians are not aware of the diversity of the other states. With the series of efforts,  Prime Minister Narendra Modi is strengthening the cultural and historic ties between the Indian states so that every state familiar with the culture of different states in the country. People who are shifting to other states for education and employment are acting as bridges between the two states. They are the ones who are living in this diversity of India. Dr Reena Sharma who shifted to Gujarat for work was impressed with the love and affection of the local people. She lauded Modi government's Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat programmes.<br />'' <br />''With the programmes like 'Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat', mutual relations between the states are getting improved and positive thinking is getting furthered in the country.<br />
