The 56th National Shooting Championship begins at the Dr. Karni Singh Shooting Ranges in New Delhi today. Beijing Games Gold medalist Abhinav Bindra, London Games medalists Vijay Kumar and Gagan Narang are participating in the tournament. More than 2,300 shooters from 41 affiliated State Rifle Associations have confirmed their entries, which in itself is a record.Ronjan Sodhi, Col. Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore, Joydeep Karmakar, Sanjeev Rajput and Anjali Bhagwat are the other big names participating in the tournament.The tournament, which is being conducted by Haryana State Rifle Association, will continue till 30th December.
