Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has transformed the life and livelihood of the poor people of the country. Talking to news persons in Guwahati ahead of the completion of the nine years of the Modi Government, he said that 3.5 crore people got houses in the country in the Modi regime while 12 crore toilets have been constructed. Mr. Vaishnaw said that the construction of the toilets has led to the reduction of crime against women. The Union Minister further said that national security was the topmost priority for the Prime Minister and he did everything to ensure the security of the country.<br />''&nbsp;<br />''<span style="color: #222222;">Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said, Mr. Modi is always emotionally attached to the people of Assam and North East. Mr. Sarma mentioned that infrastructure, investment and connectivity got a major boost under Prime Minister Modi.
