<span style="color: #222222;">National Science Day Celebrations (NSDC)-2022 have been concluded at Naval Science & Technological Laboratory (NSTL), the premier naval research laboratory of Defence Research & Development Organisation (DRDO) on Monday at Mohapatra Manasi Auditorium, Visakhapatnam, AP.<br />'' <br />'' National Science Day is being observed every year on February 28, to mark and celebrate the discovery of 'Raman Effect' by Sir CV.Raman on 28.02.1928.  Also, this year, these celebrations were organised in commemoration of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.  <br />'' <br />'' Dr. Samir V Kamat, Distinguished Scientist & Director General (Naval Systems & Materials) took part as Chief Guest.<br />'' Lighting the lamp & Floral tributes was offered to the portrait of Sir CV Raman by the Chief Guest and Distinguished Guest<br />''<br />''While addressing, Dr. Y Sreenivas Rao, Outstanding Scientist & Director NSTL: expressed happiness over overwhelming response from government and private school students for various competitions conducted as part of NSDC-2022.  He announced that these type of competitions will be continued in the future to bring out scientific temper in the students.</span><br />
