<span style="color: #222222;">The National River Conservation Plan has so far covered polluted stretches on 36 rivers in 80 towns spread over 19 States including Odisha in the country. <br />''<br />''In a written reply in Lok Sabha, Minister of State for Environment, Forest and Climate Change Aswini Kumar Choubey said projects for pollution abatement of two rivers Brahmani at Chandbali, Dharamshala, and Talcher towns; and Mahanadi at Cuttack town and also for the coastal area at Puri were sanctioned in Odisha at a total cost of Rs. 92 crores and 74 lakhs.</span><br />
