<br/>National Public Service Broadcasting Day is being observed on Thursday. It is observed every year to commemorate the 'Father of the Nation' Mahatma Gandhi's only visit to All India Radio at New Delhi on this day in 1947 to address the refugees who were camped in Kurukshetra.<br/>A special function has been organised at the premises of All India Radio in Delhi and also at various AIR stations across the country to mark the day.
