National Public Broadcasting Day being celebrated today

The National Public Broadcasting Day is being celebrated today to commemorate Mahatama Gandhi's visit to All India Radio in 1947. On this day, Gandhi Ji visited All India Radio studios in New Delhi to broadcast a message for the refugees from Pakistan staying at Kurukshetra. In memory of this day, a special function was organised at the premises of All India Radio New Delhi.

Gandhi Ji's favourite bhajans were sung by different choir groups.
