The National People's Party (NPP) has released a list of 20 candidates for the upcoming Manipur Assembly Elections. The Chairman of Election Management Committee of NPP Manipur issued the names of 20 candidates including two women candidates this evening.<br />''The NPP list consists of three sitting MLAs- Y. Joykumar, L. Jayentakumar and N. Kayisii. In the last assembly elections, NPP got four seats and the party formed alliances with BJP to form the coalition government. Joykumar said that NPP has decided to field 40 candidates in the upcoming polls. Remaining names will be announced in two phases. The party is expecting BJP and Congress as main rivals in the coming elections.<br />
