The non NDA and non UPA parties today asked the government to immediately accept a Joint Parliamentary Committee probe into 2G spectrum allocation scam. The members of Parliament belonging to CPIM, CPI, AIFB, RSP, TDP, JD(S), AIADMK, AGP, BJD, MDMK and RLD parties alleged that the government is protecting corrupt people in high positions. In a resolution, they said that the government is solely responsible for the stalemate in the House on the issue. The resolution further said that the government has been unable to present any argument as to why it is so opposed to the formation of JPC. It said that they will continue their struggle against corruption from the 2G to the Commonwealth Games to illegal mining and also the land scams in Karnataka.
