The Central Bureau of Investigation, CBI has blamed Congress leader Sajjan Kumar for 1984 anti-sikh riots. It said that Mr. Sajjan Kumar played a very negative role during 1984 anti-sikh riots. The agency said that he was on the site of crime and incited rioters.

The CBI said, it was part of a high-profile conspiracy as the riots were not a spontaneous reaction but a well organised operation.
