The National Level Painiting Competition on ‘Water Conservation’ for School children upto 4th, 5th and 6th standards will be held in New Delhi on Friday. It is being organized by the Ministry of Water Resources.The Ministry organises the nationwide ‘Painting Competition’ on saving and protecting the precious resource and creating awareness among the children. The competition also aims to motivate children towards thinking about water resources, its augmentation, conservation, recycling and offers them a chance to explore their creativity.According to an official release, the competition is held in three stages, the School Level competition, followed by the State Level competition and finally terminating at the National Level painting competition.In the National Level competition, cash prize of 1 Lakh rupees will be given to the winner, four children will be given 50,000 rupess each for second prize and 8 third prizes each worth of 25,000 rupees will given to the eight third prize winners.
