Sandeep Kumar of Haryana won the gold medal in the men's 20 kilometer race walk on Day 2 of the National Inter State Championships athletics meet in Guntur yesterday. Sandeep clocked a timing of one hour 27 minute and 1.52 seconds to pocket theyellow metal. In the event, Odiya sprinter Amiya Kumar Mallick won the men's 200 meter run in 21.65 seconds. The women's 200 meter race was also clinched by a Odisha athlete Srabani Nanda finished with a timing of 24.18 seconds.
