National Inter-Religious Conference is a forum for bringing together views of different religions and sects: Nitin Gadkari

<span style="color: #222222;">Union Road Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari on Sunday said that the National Inter-Religious Conference held in Nagpur is a forum for bringing together the views of different religions and sects. He said Indian society is a value based lifestyle comprising different religions. He was speaking as the chief guest at a one-day National Inter-Religious Conference organized by Lokmat Media Group in Nagpur today.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Founder of Art of the Living,Guru Sri Sri Ravishankar ,Swami Ramdev of Patanjali Yogpeeth, Acharya Lokesh Muni, Archbishop of Mumbai Cardinal Oswald Gracias, Haji Syed Salman Chishti, Bhikkhu Sanghasena and many other prominent religious leaders participated in this Conference.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Theme of the conference was'Global Challenges to Communal Harmony and Role of India'. Speaking in the occasion, Mr. Gadkari stated that,all religions may have different denominations but tolerance and inclusiveness are common among them.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Gurudeva Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, the founder of the Art of Living, said that God loves diversity, so our country also needs diversity. There is a interest in diversity. Hence, there should be common interest in all sects.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Swami Ramdev said that the biggest terrorism is religious, economic and political terrorism.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Acharya Lokesh Muni said that Indian Ayurveda ,Yoga and moderated lifestyle is a guide for the whole world.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Archbishop of Mumbai ,Cardinal Gracious said that in order for our common humanity to bind us together, there must be in-depth and continuous communication.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Dr. Mohan Bhagwat, Sarsanghchalak of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) also addressed the event through a video message. He said that there should be mutual dialogue between different sects. Haji Syed Salman Chisti of Dargah Ajmer Sharif said that India has two spiritual powers of patience and gratitude which make India invincible.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Speaking on the occasion, Chairman of Lokmat Media Group and Former Rajyasabha MP, Mr.Vijay Darda said that the purpose behind the event was to convey the message that Indian culture is a culture of brotherhood and world peace . Citizens of Nagpur, followers of religious leaders attended this conference in large numbers.</span><br />
