<span style="color: #222222;">As a part of Vigyan Sarvatra Pujyate science week in Leh, National Institute of Sowa Rigpa, NISR, observed the Science Festival with a theme of Inventions and Innovations on Friday. On the fourth day of celebrations, NISR Director Dr. Padma Gurmet gave a technical lecture on inter-linkage between Traditional Knowledge and Science with special reference to Sowa-Rigpa while Assistant Professor Dr. Rigzin Smanla spoke on the usage of herbs in development of drugs and traditional medicines.<br />'' <br />'' Science week celebrations are being organised in collaboration with Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council in Leh along with 74 other centres across the country.<br />'' <br />'' The participants were shown and explained the drug repository, herbarium, and museum of Sowa Rigpa institute. The participants also visited the Herbal Garden of the Institute.<br />'' <br />''Tomorrow, as a part of Vigyan Sarvatra Pujyate celebrations, Science Literature festival and Science quiz programmes will be held at DIET, District Library and EJM College, in Leh.</span><br />
