National health policy is poised to achieve a total fertility rate of 2.1% by 2025: Govt

The Government today said, the country's National health policy is poised to achieve a total fertility rate of 2.1 per cent by 2025. <br />'' <br />'' This was stated by the Minister of State for Planning, Rao Inderjit Singh in a written reply to a question in the Rajya Sabha today. <br />'' <br />'' He said, the policy has set out indicative, quantitative goals and objectives. He said, the immediate objective is to provide integrated service delivery for basic reproductive and child health care.<br />''
