A 15 day National Level handloom exhibition organized by commissioner of handlooms and textiles and commissioner of apparel export parks , Andhra Pradesh, will be opened for visitors at Swaraj Maidan from this evening.

Speaking to media persons Handlooms and Textiles Commissioner and in- charge of the expo, T.Yethi Raju, said , it was for the first time , a national level handloom expo was being organized in Vijayawada and added that artisans from 18 states will display their artifacts in 200 stalls.

Union Minister of State for handlooms and textiles Panabaka Lakshmi will inaugurate the expo, AP Minister for Mines and Geology Galla Aruna Kumari, AP Minister for Textiles P Sankar Rao and others will participate in the inauguration.
