35 gold medals were at stake today in 14 events on the second day of the competition in the 34th National Games being held in Jharkhand.While Madhya Pradesh with 6 gold is maintain the lead in overall medal tally, Manipur and services have jumped to second and third position respectively pushing Tamil Nadu and Delhi.Madhya Pradesh lead is mainly due to medal won in martial sports.This medal tally is showing quick changes as the results from different competitive venues are pouring in.Meanwhile, Services grabbed their first gold medal in the 34th National Games when they won the yellow metal in equesterian beating silver-medalist Haryana, at the Gopal Maidan in Jamshedpur today. The Bihar team, comprising of Jitendra Singh, Shahnawaz Khan, Yogendra Yadav and Trilok Prasad had to be content with a bronze after they accummulated 99.5 points. Major Kishan Yadav, Mahesh Patil, P J Sakpal and R N Shinde of Services exhibited good control and gathered 112 points to clinch the top prize, followed by Haryana's Nar Singh, Ram Bhagat and Rameshwar Das, who scored 109 points.

National Games: MP leads medal tally with six gold
