Amid complaints of lapses and corruption in the conduct of the 35th National Games, currently held in Kerala, the State Chief Minister Oommen Chandy today said Local Audit Fund Department have been asked to carry out audit of the Games' account within 45 days. After a cabinet meeting in Thiruvananthapuram, he said necessary instructions in this regard has been given to the concerned authorities. Mr. Chandy also said that priority of the government was to have the accounts of the games audited at the earliest and a decision on ordering a probe on the complaints can wait till the games were over.
