The Prime Minister today said a draft national food security<br/>bill is under preparation. Addressing his first national press conference after the UPA II took reins of power a year ago,<br/> Dr Singh announced a National Social Security Fund in unorganised sector to be set up with an initial corpus 1,000 crore rupees. He has appealed to all groups in Jammu and Kashmir to shed violence and come to the dialogue table. Describing the first year of UPA-II as one of reasonable achievement, Dr Singh said his government could have done more. He said there is always room for improvement and for better<br/>outcome. <br/>
