National Executive of BJP begins in Indore

The National Executive of the BJP began in Indore this morning with the ratification of Mr. Nitin Gadkari as the party chief. The three-day conclave of the party will focus on issues like rise in prices, terrorism and India-Pakistan talks. Addressing the national executive, the young chief of the party, Mr. Nitin Gadkari urged the party members to highlight objective of the party of upliftment of the last man of the society. In the afternoon session, discussion would be held on forthcoming elections in Bihar and Assam. Nearly five thousand delegates from across the country including senior party leaders, Mr. L.K. Advani, Mrs. Sushma Swaraj, Mr. Arun Jaitely and Mr. Murali Manohar Joshi are participating in the conclave. The one-day national executive meeting of the party will be followed by the national council meeting from tomorrow.
