National Cycling Championship was today organized in New Delhi to promote fuel conservation. <br/><br/>Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, Film actor Farhan Akhtar and cricketer Munaf Patel flagged off the event. It was organised by the Petroleum Conservation Research Association. <br/><br/>Speaking on the occasion, Mr Pradhan said, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had made an appeal in his Mann Ki Baat not to use diesel and petrol once a week. He said, Cycling for smaller distances can contribute a lot. The Minister said, this initiative will motivate people for fuel conservation.
