India's cycling coach Ruma Chatterjee was killed on Tuesday in a road accident near Nalgadha village on Noida Expressway in Uttar Pradesh. Police said 51-year-old Chatterjee was training over 20 junior team members on the expressway and was following them on a motorcycle when she was hit by a speeding car from behind.. She was rushed to Kailash hospital where she died during treatment.The car driver fled from the spot leaving the vehicle behind.Assistant coach Bhim Singh Dhaiya later lodged a complaint with the police.Chatterjee, a Kolkata resident, was attending the national camp ahead of the Indian team's visit to Switzerland.
