An MoU aimed at forging parternership between National Culture Fund and Housing and Urban Development Corporation for heritage initiatives was today signed in New Delhi. The MoU provides for conservation and restoration of heritage buildings apart from upgradation of Archaeological Survey of India or ASI site museums in well-known Buddhist sites of Nagarjunakonda and Amaravati Museums in Andhra Pradesh . Creation of website on heritage and disaster management besides environmental improvement of heritage sites is also part of MoU. It was signed in the presence of Culture minister Kumari Selja.
