The two-day national conference on Prison Reforms will be held in New Delhi today. The Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Hansraj Gangaram Ahir will inaugurate the 5th National Conference. Heads of Prisons of States and Union Territories will take part in the conference. <br/><br/>Home Ministry in a release said, the conference will provide a platform to the stakeholders to exchange ideas and learn from each others experience. It will also provide them an opportunity to showcase their best practices and innovations.<br/><br/>The Ministry said, for the first time, the Superintendents of Jails from Central Jails and district Jails will share their views and experiences.
