The National Conference of State Animal Husbandry and Dairy Ministers will begin in New Delhi on Friday. An official release said, the conference will discuss dairy development, milk production and other matters relating to the animal husbandry sector.

Agriculture Minister Sharad Pawar will honour dairy farmers selected from States and Union Territories for their contribution to production of milk and growth of the dairy sector.

Besides State Ministers, Secretaries of State Animal Husbandry and Dairy Departments, representatives of National Dairy Development Board and scientists of ICAR institutions will participate in the conference.
