National Commission for Scheduled Castes, Vice-Chairman Arun Haldar today directed bankers to meet the targets set by the Central Government in implementing programmes for the welfare of SCs. He reviewed the implementation of various central schemes with bankers and senior officials in Hyderabad today. Later addressing the media, he said some banks are doing well, however some are not meeting their targets.<br />''<br />''He further said they have been directed to focus on upliftment programmes and achieve targets. The commission also held hearing of a few petitions especially from Medchal Malkajgiri, Vikarabad and Nagarkurnool districts.
