The National Commission for Minorities has expressed concern over the attack on people from Sikh community in Pakistan including former President of Pakistan Sikh Gurudwara Prabandhak Committee Mastan Singh. It is alleged that local land mafia are behind the incident who are trying to encroach a prime piece of land.<br />''<br />''Taking cognizance of media reports, the Commission said, since a prominent Sikh family is subjected to brutality, other Sikh members in Pakistan are feeling insecure. Chairman of the Commission Iqbal Singh Lalpura has expressed his concern over the incident.<br />''<br />''The Commission has urged the Minority Affairs &nbsp;Ministry to raise the issue with the External Affairs Ministry for further taking up it with Pakistan so that this kind of incident is not repeated in future and appropriate steps are taken to secure the safety of Sikhs there.&nbsp;<br />
