The National Commission for Ex-Servicemen Bill has been drafted. This is in pursuance of the President's address to Parliament on 9th June, 2014 in which the government's decision to appoint a Veterans Commission was announced. <br/><br/>Minister of State for Defence Rao Inderjit Singh stated this in the Lok Sabha today. He said the opinions of the Departments of Legislative Affairs and Administrative Reforms have been obtained and now the matter is under consideration.
