The National Cancer Institute and National Cardio Care Centre will be setup at the second campus of All India Institute of Medical Sciences at Badhsa in Jhajjar district of Haryana. This was announced by Union Health and Family Welfare Minister Gulam Nabi Azad there today. He was talking to media persons after inaugurating the Outreach OPD of AIIMS at Badhsa , 17 kilometer off Gurgaon.

Azad said the second campus of AIIMS will be developed as a world class international level institution. Expression of Interest has already been invited for drafting its master plan through international bidding.

Azad also launched the free medicine facility there. Generic medicines will be provided free of cost to all the patients getting treatment at the Outreach OPD.

Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda, who was also present , said Badhsa will be connected through four-lane road to New Delhi.
